At the beginning of the 21st century it was reconstructed and rebuilt. Reconstruction is a controversial topic because no sources documenting the original appearance of the castle have survived. The current shape of the building is the result of the knowledge and experience of architecture researchers and historians. The castle was rebuilt by the Lasecki family from local limestone. It is open to visitors, within the walls of the castle there is an exhibition presenting historical exhibits.

However, you can enter the castle grounds, from where there is a beautiful view of the surroundings, and the blue trail begins running along Grzęda Mirowska to the Castle in Bobolice.
